On October 21st, 2019 the Exemplary Buildings task force put together an all-day working session to develop standardized wall assemblies for the Exemplary Buildings Program. We were fortunate to be joined by Mark LaLiberte, nationally recognized building scientist from Exemplary Buildings Program partner Construction Instruction.
With support for this design session from Orepac and JRS Engineering, it was a productive day! We’ll soon be publishing a guide with details that will help us achieve scale with high-performance walls. Our next step is to work with suppliers of key products to make these wall assemblies real and to discuss supplier agreement options.
