Exemplary Buildings aren’t just about energy and water savings. They can be about equity also. As the affordable housing community begins to develop exemplary buildings and to introduce new technologies to the sector, there is a need to train contractors in these new technologies. Exemplary Buildings Program partner Emerald Cities Collaborative is proactively recruiting women and minority-owned business for training in the most advanced new technologies. The training equips participants with unique capabilities and helps them grow their businesses.
